Garmin updates its Forerunner range of GPS watches with five new models. There are GPS watches for both experienced and unskilled runners.
With five brand new running watches, Garmin has given its popular Forerunner series a huge update.
Everything from the very cheap to the most expensive and most advanced watches has been overhauled.
The Forerunner 945 is the tip of the cake. The watch can contain up to 1,000 songs that you can hear along the way.

Whether walking through busy city streets or small, overgrown trails, maps of color on the Forerunner 945 help you find your way.
The Forerunner 945 also includes a new feature that sorts your recent workout history into different categories based on activity structure and intensity.
Several built-in activity profiles, including skiing, hiking, yoga and more, make it easy to change their routine. The Forerunner 945 is also designed to be worn all day. The watch has up to 2 weeks of battery life in smartwatch mode, up to 36 hours in GPS mode and up to 10 hours in GPS mode with music.

The somewhat cheaper Garmin Forerunner 45 is designed for those who are training for your very first race or starting a new training plan.
The watch is designed for daily use with monitoring of the wrist pulse and built-in GPS that can help keep pace, distance and intervals.
For those with a smaller wrist, the Garmin Forerunner 45S model has a 39 millimeter dial compared to the 42 millimeter dial on the Forerunner 45.
